Upload your logo and pick your colors. Your portal is live right away at yourname.closingthread.com, with your company name on every screen and every email.

• Want your own domain? The Professional plan includes portal.yourcompany.com and sending as closer@yourcompany.com. You add a few DNS records once, or forward the instructions to your IT person.

Open a deal and invite the parties

Enter the property and contract dates, then add the buyer, seller, both agents, the lender and the other side’s attorney. Each gets an email with a one-time sign-in link. Most deals have four or five people following along.

• Parties see only the deals they’re on, read-only. Staff see a deal only if they’re on the file.
• Someone missing? They can request access, and your staff approve or decline
• Every date in the portal is labeled: due, ordered, received, completed

Keep the file current

Upload documents as they arrive and set each task’s status. Key dates calculate from the contract, with weekends and holidays handled, and recalculate when an addendum is approved.

Branded status emails

On every plan, your staff can send a branded status email to every party whenever they choose. With the automatic outbox add-on, they go out on a schedule or when something changes. Each one has a progress bar, labeled key dates, status colors and an “Open the portal” button.

Cc your own closer@ and the file updates itself

With the email intake add-on, your team keeps cc’ing the same closer@yourcompany.com address they use today. A one-time auto-forward rule in your mailbox sends a copy to your private portal intake. The portal reads it and suggests an update. A staff member approves it, edits it or dismisses it.
